We’re excited about the weather!

We are so excited the weather is changing in Atlanta. People are starting to get outside and enjoy taking walks and seeing their neighbors and catching up on all that is going on. We have been very busy networking and helping our awesome clients. We just love what we do and it shows!

Spring is a time for new beginnings. I just love to watch the trees and flowers in bloom. All of God’s creations are alive with new life, the kind of renewal we all get to live every day. Frantic Friday – A busy move day for our client!

Hi & Thanks for visiting On The Move & More on this awesome day.  Our busy day moved a client into his new Buckhead Home.  McGregor movers did an awesome job juggling two trucks to two different places, picking up more furniture along the way for this large delivery.  Thanks to everyone who helped out!  Our lead, Cindy was there from 9 am to 9 pm to ensure delivery and furniture placement went well.  She also made sure the bed was made and ready to sleep in for our client tonight.  I’m sure she added a chocolate on the pillow for him!

Tomorrow the crew will be there at 10:00 to begin the fun task of unpacking and organizing all those boxes we packed at their old home.  It’s always a fun time seeing the home transform into a beautiful new home.  Yes, we help with placement of furniture, hanging pictures and making that closet look like your favorite botique.  Who knew that was all your furniture?

Thursday 1/20/11 – Let yourself be amazed!!!

When working with the awesome ladies at Visions Anew yesterday, I was just amazed when she mentioned the company “Your Home Team Advisors.”  One of the girls that work with us mentioned it to me as a great place to do some networking, said it was a company that her husband and another attorney had started.  It peaked my interest but I never got around to pursuing it.  When it was mentioned yesterday, I called my gal, and in amazement found out also that one of the employees there is also a board member for Visions Anew.  Wow, what is God up to with this one.  I had landed in the place He wants me to be and that is a great feeling!

It’s been mostly an office day for me and the phones and emails are buzzing.  It seems that there is a lot going on in the moving and relocation business these days and we’re here to help.  Currently we’re working on moving a job that we packed up just before the snow storm last week (what a blessing we finished up before the snow came in).  Did you know that we have some awesome women packers that will box up everything for you whether you’re moving yourself or having someone else do that for you?  We do, it’s awesome, you should try it some time!  We’re also helping out a family that is moving out of state.  We will post-clean their home after the movers finish up there and get it ready for the new folks to move in.  We offer a host of services related to moving so why don’t you check us out.  We love to make our clients smile and it shows!  Happy Thursday to YOU!

Not Just another Wednesday! On The Move & More, LLC

Hi and thanks for joining us!  Today was an awesome day.  The reason for this is probably because it is Wednesday and Wednesday is the day I take bible study.  There’s just nothing like a great group of women who get together in the name of our Lord and Savior to study His awesome word.  When God picks your friends, amazing things begin to happen and that’s the journey I started on about 5 1/2 years ago.  Our newest study is “A Case for Faith” by Lee Strobel.  Lee sets out on the journey to see why people have faith and the answers will fascinate you.

After a quick lunch with my buddies, I was fortunate enough to have a meeting with Margot Swann (our second meeting) with the non-profit “Visions Anew.”  www.visionsanew.org.  They’re a non profit in Atlanta that helps women through the painful decision of divorce.  Having been there myself, I have a spot in my heart to help these women see the light at the end of the tunnel!  What a great ministry this is and I’m so excited to embark on helping them out.  We will do some work getting their supplies organized and hopefully help them administratively on an ongoing basis.  Funny how God makes things work, but one of the people on the board is with a company called “Your Home Team Advisors.”  They help women through the process of buying a home from start to finish and will speak at the VA workshop this weekend.  As it turns out, one of the Attorney’s that started this organization has a wife that works with On The Move & More!  What a small world.  One sign that I know we are right where God wants us to be in helping this awesome ministry.  Thanks for taking the time read about our business.

Tuesday, January 18, 2010 – Hi and thanks for joining us — On The Move & More with our new blog site.  We have so many things going on that we just had to share them with you!  Today we worked with a corporate client getting them unpacked and organized in their new home in Buckhead.  What a joy it is to be able to help people during the difficulties of transition.  We help with getting you out of boxes the day after you move.  During that time we can also help with furniture placement and hanging pictures.  We will turn you house into a home the day the movers leave!

We also are helping a local client clean up and regain the space in her master bedroom and closet.  Ya know, life gets in the way sometimes and you just need to regroup.  It’s hard to know where to start!  That’s OK – We’re not here to criticize or offer judgement– we just help.  Whether it’s organizing your kitchen, bedroom, basement or attic, we’re here and we love to help.  We can pre or post clean that home you just sold or purchased, be your errand runner, or personal shopper!  We’ll make you smile!
